Brief

General duties including traying, wrapping, boxing and un-boxing products, bagging, labelling and shift sanitation duties.

Responsibilities

Packaging/Sealing of meat products Keep up to production line speed while: bagging, boxing and un-boxing products, labeling, shift sanitation duties, traying, and wrapping. Assist with various tasks as assigned by lead hands and production supervisors. Work as part of a team environment. Be willing to adhere to all hygienic food safe and WorkSafeBC requirements in the plant. Assisting with various other tasks as needed

Requirements

Ability to work in a refrigerated environment. Physically fit and able to lift, push, and/or pull, weight of up to 50 lbs. Experience in food manufacturing within a fast-paced environment is an asset. Must have the ability to communicate effectively in English. Ensure safe and hygienic practices are applied to all tasks performed. Must be legally allowed to work in Canada.

Working Conditions

Regular working hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week from 6:00am to 2:30pm, overtime may be required based on business needs. Availability to work on Saturdays and shift work, pending operational requirements. Breaks: 2 x 30-minute breaks, per the current CBA.

Pay: From $18.48 per hour
