We're a growing craft brewery passionate about producing high-quality beers in small batches. Join our team and help us create beers that our community loves.
Job Summary:
We're seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Production Worker with some prior brewing experience to assist in beer production on our industrial brewing system. The role will focus primarily on hands-on brewing operations, with additional responsibilities in local sales deliveries to support our distribution needs. This is a great opportunity for someone with brewing knowledge looking for flexible, part-time work in a dynamic craft beer environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate the brewhouse for full brew days, including milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, and wort transfer on an industrial-scale system.
Assist with cellar operations: monitoring fermentations, yeast management (pitching/harvesting), dry-hopping, carbonation, and beer transfers.
Perform CIP (Clean-in-Place) and sanitation of tanks, lines, brewhouse equipment, and production areas to maintain strict hygiene standards.
Handle raw materials (grain, hops, etc.), inventory tracking, and basic quality checks (gravity readings, pH, etc.).
Support packaging tasks as needed (kegging, canning/bottling if applicable).
Perform local sales deliveries: Load and unload kegs/cases, deliver products to accounts (bars, restaurants, retailers) in a company vehicle, collect payments or invoices as required, and maintain positive customer relationships during drop-offs.
Adhere to safety protocols, record-keeping, and recipe guidelines to ensure consistent beer quality.
Other general brewery tasks, including cleaning and maintenance.
Requirements
Some experience required: Prior hands-on brewing experience (commercial brewery preferred; homebrewing with advanced knowledge considered). Familiarity with industrial-scale systems (e.g., 10+ barrel brewhouse) is a plus.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required for deliveries).
Ability to lift 55+ lbs repeatedly (e.g., grain bags, kegs) and work on your feet for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a wet, noisy environment with exposure to hot/cold temperatures and chemicals, as well as driving for local deliveries.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, organizational skills, and a passion for craft beer.
Flexible availability, including potential weekends or evenings.
Must be 19+ years old
