The Production Line Worker is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining equipment used in the bottling, labeling, and packaging of Yoho Fine Water Inc. products. This role ensures production runs efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with HACCP, GMP, and company quality standards. The Production Line Worker contributes to consistent product quality, sanitation, and overall plant performance through attention to detail and adherence to standard operating procedures.
Description of Duties:
As a Production Line Worker, the Employee's key responsibilities will be to:
Operate and monitor machinery and equipment used in the bottling process, including filling, capping, labeling, and packaging lines.
Perform basic troubleshooting of production line equipment, including starting, stopping, and resetting machinery as needed.
Ensure all equipment is properly set up and operating smoothly to maintain production efficiency.
Monitor the flow of bottles through filling, sealing, labeling, and packaging processes to ensure continuous operation.
Verify that bottles are filled accurately and sealed securely in accordance with product quality and food safety standards.
Inspect packaging materials (caps, labels, shrink wrap, etc.) to confirm proper application and adherence to specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of production equipment, conveyors, and work areas to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with GMP.
Identify and report any quality issues, leaks, damaged bottles, or deviations from established standards.
Report all safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or incidents immediately to the Production Supervisor or designated safety personnel.
Notify supervisors when materials or supplies (caps, labels, bottles, etc.) require replenishment to prevent production delays.
Complete production logs, batch records, and quality control checklists accurately and on time.
Participate in cleaning and sanitization procedures, including end-of-shift cleaning.
Work collaboratively with other production team members to coordinate tasks and maintain consistent workflow.
Follow all company safety policies, GMP, and HACCP requirements at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned or necessary to support production operations.

Mechanical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting production machinery.

Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing moderate lifting.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (required for safety, documentation, and production records).
Basic math skills (required for counting product, verifying quantities, and completing production documentation).
Education and Experience:
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
One (1) year of experience in a food, beverage, or manufacturing production environment preferred.
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and basic food safety practices an asset.
Experience with bottling or packaging equipment considered an advantage.
Comprehensive On-the-job training will be provided for all company-specific procedures and safety programs.
