The Opportunity:
Our Vancouver dynamic team is seeking skilled Production Technician in Vancouver to support our Production Division.
As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for the complete assembly of our electronic products, from soldering individual components to processing the final packaged units for shipment. Your duties will also include managing inventory by receiving, inspecting, and logging all incoming materials. Additionally, you will handle the storage, organization, and preparation of materials, as well as the packing and coordination of outgoing shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
General Production:
Prepare, process, clean, install, assemble, rework, verify, test, solder, and/or inspect electronic and mechanical components, hardware, subassemblies, and final products.
Follow work instructions, drawings, methods, diagrams, standards, or other specifications in accordance with established assembly procedures.
Perform final assembly of electronics, connectors, and housings into complete packages ready for shipment.
Input design specifications and create CAD models according to SMT standards and client requirements.
Receiving and Inspections:
Receive incoming goods.
Verify contents against invoices, purchase orders, and packing slips.
Log and document all incoming materials in the inventory system.
Storage and Organization:
Use material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, dollies) to move and organize items safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with safety guidelines and regulations.
Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
Prepare materials for deployment in designated staging areas.
Shipping:
Pack and prepare outgoing orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
Coordinate with shipping carriers and logistics partners.
Documentation:
Accurately complete and maintain all required documentation related to inventory, shipping, and receiving.
Safety Adherence:
Consistently follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Excellent attention to details and patience working with components, parts and tools
Willingness to learn and adapt to new working methods and procedures
Proficient with computers, technology and electronics and control system construction assemblies
Highly motivated and organized, with the ability to accept ambiguity and deliver exceptional results on tight schedules
Self-motivated, responsible, punctual, and organized
