Responsibilities:
Execute repetitive tasks loading and unloading wood into machinery
Visually grade lumber and blocks while operating machinery
Monitor product quality during production, and report quality to supervisors
Startup/Shutdown machinery according to operator specifications
Set up, calibrate, and maintain wood processing machinery
Contribute to the team and have a positive impact
What We're Looking For:
A strong willingness to learn, and patience
Physically fit, able to lift multiple boards of lumber
Can walk up to 10,000 steps per shift without issue
Mechanically inclined with problem-solving skills
Comfortable using tools like drills, grinders, and various saws
Ability to detect equipment and machinery issues
Proactive, adaptable, and unafraid to tackle tasks
Comfortable operating a forklift is a plus
