Empire Hydrogen is a high-energy and fast-paced company designing and manufacturing hydrogen fuel enhancement systems out of Sidney, BC. We're a small, hands-on team working to push this technology forward, and we're looking for someone ready to jump in and make a real impact.

Position Overview

We are hiring Production Technicians to join our team. As a technician you'll be in the shop building and assembling our fuel enhancement system. Some specific areas you will be focusing on are mechanical assembly, wiring, and electronics. This is a hands-on role that involves manual labor, using tools, and problem-solving. We are looking for someone who is good with their hands, works well in a team and can spot ways to improve our process.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical components and systems using hand and power tools. Carry out small electrical wiring, crimping, soldering, and configuration. Perform product testing, troubleshooting, and quality checks. Help improve processes and workflow. Collaborate with a small, tight-knit team and support general shop activities.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude and experience with tools, parts, and hands-on builds. Experience with electrical wiring - basic circuits, crimping, or soldering is a plus. Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Self-starter with a good attitude and a willingness to learn. Ability to follow instructions but also think independently and problem-solve. Previous experience in production, manufacturing, automotive, mechanical trades, or similar hands-on work is an asset.
