As a
Production Technician
you will help assemble and test our movers (permanent magnets), stators (electromagnets) and other associated hardware.
Duties Include...
Assembling hardware (~40% of working hours)
Operating and maintaining equipment used in assembly (~10%)
Quality Assurance on incoming components (~20%)
Testing finished products (~10%)
Packaging finished products (~15%)
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment (~5%)
Ideal Candidates Must...
Follow written and verbal instructions precisely
Ask questions
Have excellent manual dexterity
Expect high levels of quality from their work
Have good written and spoken English-language communication skills
Have the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Assets That Might Set You Apart Include...
Experience working with fasteners, epoxies, solder, or other assembly techniques
A diploma or degree from a technical institute or college in a field related to mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering
Work experience in an assembly environment

You will be part of the production team, reporting to the production manager. Certain duties may require personal protective equipment such as gloves or a respirator; this PPE is provided. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm. We are located in Richmond, BC; the position is not remote.
