Canadian owned and operated, Buskro is a world leader in the design and manufacturing of high-speed machinery for the printing and direct mail industries. Our systems are sold worldwide and provide high quality digital print at high speeds in a single pass on a wide variety of materials including paper, plastic, and metal. Our products are modular in design allowing customers to add capabilities such as duplex printing, encoding information on plastic cards, applying labels or tabs, product tracking, data verification, and more. At the heart of our printing and card personalization systems is our industry leading software, which has continually evolved over the last 25 years.

What you'll do:
We are looking for a Production Technician to join our Production team to support our current and past designs and continue building the future of our product line. Examples of your work and responsibilities would include:

Reading drawings (e.g. 3D models, manufacturing drawings, wiring diagrams)

Hands-on work including assembly, testing, and evaluation of designs

Assisting Engineers with designs, changes, BOMs, and sourcing components

Reviews of technical documentation such as drawings, instructions, and test reports

Working with service, sales, and engineering personnel to investigate issues with and improvements to the existing product line

Follow manufacturing order picklists to pick parts

Return of picklists to Production Scheduler

Note BOM modifications / discrepancies between manufacturing order and drawings

What we're looking for:

Applicants should be comfortable with using computers, and be mechanically inclined. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

Proficient with viewing 3D CAD modeling (e.g. Inventor, AutoCAD, and/or Mechanical Desktop)

Proficient with assembly and testing of electromechanical equipment (assembly, wiring, etc.)

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel

Skills such as machining/milling and electrical knowledge with experience would be an asset

College Diploma in an Electro-mechanical field or equivalent work experience would be an asset

Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills

Salary: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
