We're seeking a
Production Technician
with strong attention to detail, excellent documentation skills, and a solid background in science--preferably chemistry--to support our growing operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrecision Ingredient Handling
Accurately weigh and measure raw materials (flavour chemicals, esters, lactones, alcohols, etc.)
Perform small scale manufacturing using calibrated laboratory balances
Materials Management
Transfer and repack raw materials from bulk to small containers with full traceability
Label and store inventory following GMP-style protocols
Maintain inventory logs and participate in cycle counts
Production & Documentation
Follow precise formulation instructions to compound flavours and fragrances
Record all batch data (weights, timings, initials, observations) in standardized forms
Assist in quality control sampling and retention logging
Compliance & SOP Execution
Operate strictly according to documented SOPs
Support continuous improvement of procedures and documentation systems
Lab & Packaging Support
Maintain a clean, well-organized lab environment
Prepare product packaging, fill orders, label samples, and assist in final assembly
Qualifications
Education:
Diploma or degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or related discipline (required)
Experience & Skills:
Prior lab or production experience in food, beverage, fragrance, or cosmetic sectors
Demonstrated ability to follow SOPs and accurately complete production records
Familiarity with chemical safety, balance calibration, and traceability practices
Manual dexterity and fine motor control for small-scale weighing and transfers
Language:
Must speak, read, and write
fluent English
Capable of accurately completing technical forms and communicating clearly
Assets:
Previous experience in a GMP, HACCP, or ISO-compliant environment
Knowledge of common flavouring ingredients and regulatory classifications
