The Production Technician responsibilities will include:
Rotating Shift work. 12 hour shifts, two weeks of days followed by two weeks of nights.
Operate, monitor, adjust and maintain pharmaceutical processing units and equipment in the manufacture of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and/or Fermentation products.
Executing both routine and complex production processes with the highest regard for safety, excellence and quality.
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting during production, as well as working with the manufacturing team to maximize production efficiency and meet departmental and company goals.
Work In compliance with GMP, GDP and standard operating procedures, performs production and assembly processes in a laboratory production environment.
Operates production/filling/packaging equipment.
Maintains records to comply with regulatory requirements and may assist with in-process testing to ensure batches meet specifications.
May help in validating processes and equipment that are directly related to filtration, cleaning and sterilization.
Work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
Required to use a respirator.
Able to lift up to 25kg.
Qualifications
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Desired:
Post-Secondary Education with a diploma in an applicable area of study.
Industrial experience in manufacturing.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.
The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $16.11 - $28.20/hr CAD plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
