Production Technician
to join our team and support the assembly, testing, and calibration of our next-generation smart tools.
Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Production Technician to support the manufacturing and assembly of highly complex electronic and electromechanical products. This role is ideal for an engineering graduate who wants to learn, grow, and gain real-world experience building cutting-edge hardware products in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
You will work closely with Robbox's Electrical and Mechanical Engineering leads, supporting all production-related tasks and contributing directly to the build quality of our next-generation smart tools.
Responsibilities
(but not limited to)
Assist with the assembly of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical components.
Perform testing, diagnostics, calibration, and QA for parts, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
Work alongside senior engineers on production processes and technical problem-solving.
Follow production workflows and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
Communicate effectively with management, engineering, production, and supply chain teams.
Maintain strong organizational practices and ensure a clean, efficient working environment.
Assist with inventory management, including tracking parts, components, and materials to ensure accurate stock levels for production.
Accurately document work, testing results, and production notes.
Experience
Candidates should ideally have experience with:
Strong hand-eye dexterity with comfort handling small components, precision tools, and detailed assembly work.
Working with small parts, PCBs, wiring, connectors, sensors, motors, or similar hardware
Soldering, crimping, or basic electronics handling (asset but not required)
Maintaining documentation, logs, and production notes
Following engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
Collaborating with engineering, production, supply chain, and management teams
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
