Production Team Member

Reports to: Production Manager

Job Summary

This position plays a key role in producing and packaging high-quality plant-based dips and products for distribution across Canada. The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining food safety protocols while working efficiently in a collaborative team environment.

Duties

Wash, prepare, and portion ingredients accurately according to recipes. Operate packaging equipment and package food products for distribution. Lift and move food containers weighing 30-50 lbs as required. Maintain cleanliness by washing and sanitizing workstations and equipment in compliance with sanitation procedures. Prepare food packages for shipping, including stacking products onto pallets and hand-wrapping them securely. Follow all safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized workspace.

Working Conditions:

Requires standing, bending, lifting, and moving at a fast pace for extended periods. Repetitive tasks Ability to lift 10-50 lbs frequently throughout the shift. Role suitable for individuals with high energy and stamina

Knowledge:

Familiarity with food safety protocols (Food Safe 1 certification preferred). Experience in food manufacturing or production is an asset but not required.

Skills & Abilities:

Strong work ethic and ability to take initiative without constant supervision (self-starter). Positive, can-do attitude with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. Attention to detail and a sense of pride in producing high-quality products. Ability to perform repetitive tasks with speed, accuracy, and care. Capability to read and understand English, follow detailed instructions Basic math skills to perform calculations as needed. Effective communication skills and a commitment to fostering a supportive team environment. Adaptability and willingness to assist in various areas of production as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Physically fit, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Experience:

At least one year of experience in a food production or manufacturing role is an asset but not required.
