Production Team Members produce and package Peacasa products in our manufacturing environment. They operate and maintain production equipment while monitoring product quality and maintaining safety standards. Team Members inspect and finalize products and prepare them for shipment.
Accountability:
Reports to: Production Team Leader
Duties:
Operates mixing equipment, following recipes and manufacturing instructions.
Operates frying equipment, following recipes and manufacturing instructions.
Labels cases, filling and sealing cases, palletizing the cases and storing the pallets.
Completes warehousing and logistics duties including printing labels, organizing pallet layouts using FIFO method, assisting the Team Leader for production planning and inventory management using designated software.
Assists with quality assurance inspections, completes regular GMP Checklists.
Cleans machinery and facility per SSOPs.
Cooperatively and respectfully works with other Team Members to complete production duties and meet production targets.
May perform other duties as reasonably requested.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:
Willingness to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment
Mechanical aptitude for operating and maintaining food processing production equipment
Physical ability to bend, lift and transfer raw materials and finished goods up to 20kg
Punctuality, reliability and dependability.
Team orientation with ability to work cooperatively with other Team Members.
Good English language communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to accurately follow directions, guidelines and policies.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in an environment with many trade secrets
Awareness and compliance with all health and safety requirements including HAACP and GMP protocols
Open minded and motivated to constantly improve operational efficiencies.
Working Conditions:
- Production Team Members work in a production facility with the following conditions:
Some shift work (days/evenings) with variable hours scheduled around production cycles
Standing for long periods of time
Physical ability to bend, lift and carry up to 20kg
Able to withstand noise and warm temperatures in the production facility
Work efficiently in a team environment with minimal supervision, at times
Job Qualifications:
Previous production and machine operations experience, preferably in the food production industry
Knowledge of HAACP, GMP and other food safety protocols
Self-directed with attention to detail
Able to read, understand and follow directions and communicate any pertinent issues accurately and quickly
Good written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attendance, reliability and punctuality
Flexible attitude and ability to work a variety of part-time hours; able to increase weekly hours when meeting key production deadlines
Team-oriented and respectful attitude
