Job Description

Adecco is currently hiring a part-time Production Supply & Logistics Analyst to join our client's team in Calgary, AB. This role is a critical customer-service operations role responsible for volumetric supply, forecasting, and end-to-end coordination of crude oil and diluent movements across the system. Acting as a primary liaison for shippers, pipeline-connected facilities, Midstream field personnel, and internal business stakeholders, this position ensures accurate hydrocarbon accounting and seamless execution of physical product movement.

Pay Rate: $48- $68/hr (based on experience)
Location: Calgary, AB
Shift: This is a Bi-weekly schedule. Week One: Monday & Tuesday one week- 8 hours a day (16 hours a week). Week Two: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday - 8 hours a day (24 hours a week).

Responsibilities:
Track and model all physical fluid movements through HMGP systems and terminals, ensuring accurate contractual transactions.
Maintain and report shipper positions across pipelines and terminals, ensuring balances and contracts are met.
Prepare month-end volumetric accounting reports and support quarterly reforecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
Forecast and reconcile system balances; support restriction, curtailment, and apportionment activities.
Liaise with shippers, connected facilities, and field operations to resolve nomination, throughput, and operational issues.
Manage volumetric forecasts and resolve nomination discrepancies (daily, monthly, quarterly).
Maintain and update customer portals, internal tools, workbooks, and system applications.
Provide analysis, contingency planning, and rapid problem-solving during operational sensitivities.
Complete regulatory and audit reporting (Petrinex, EPAP, Internal Controls).
Act as SME and business tester for the Integrated Pipeline System (IPS).
Support customer communication and participate in special projects as needed.
Provide after-hours support during deadline-driven or issue-related events.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree/certificate in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or related discipline
2-4 years of crude oil or related energy industry experience
Advanced Excel proficiency
2+ years in reconciliation, inventory, accounting, or logistics coordination
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience in oil blending, crude logistics, or volumetric forecasting
Knowledge of pipeline operations, scheduling (rail, pipe, marine), and inventory management
Familiarity with industry reporting tools (Petrinex, Petroleum Registry, COLC)
Experience with PowerAutomate, PowerBI, or automation-enabled workflows
Ability to troubleshoot workflow automation (or eagerness to learn)
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
