What You'll Do:

Lead and Engage a High-Performance Team

: Direct and inspire a production team of 16-20 employees, fostering collaboration and accountability to meet performance goals

Ensure Quality, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:

Uphold production processes that meet quality, safety, and environmental standards, creating a safe and compliant work environment

Optimize Production Resources

: Monitor productivity, adjust tasks and scheduling, and efficiently allocate resources to meet production targets

Train and Develop Team Members:

Coach and support your direct reports in enhancing their skills and professional growth through performance management and development programs

Support Administrative Operations:

Manage scheduling, payroll processing, and daily reporting to maintain efficient operations

We invite applicants from candidates who possess the below qualifications:

Education:

Minimum:

Post-Secondary diploma or trade certification in industrial technology, engineering, or a related field

Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree in industrial technology, forestry, or business administration

Experience:

+

Minimum:

4+ years of supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment
+

Preferred:

Experience working in industrial forestry or sawmill operations

Certifications:

+

Minimum:

Relevant safety or industry certifications

Knowledge and Skills:

+ Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
+ Understanding of safety, quality, and environmental standards
+ Problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
+ Ability to work flexible hours, including day and night shifts
