We are currently accepting applications for a dynamic, highly skilled, and organized individual for the position of
Supervisor
to join our team at our processing facility in Triton, Newfoundland and Labrador.The Position:
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the processing component of the seafood facility. This will include leading a team of production staff in meeting company standards for safety, quality, yield, efficiency and cost, including the following:
Ensure that production staff are processing the product in accordance with company,
Provincial and food safety standards (i.e., HACCP, CFIA, etc.).
Take a proactive approach to potential production issues.
Maintain a balanced process flow and address any production issues when they occur.
Plan and coordinate daily labour requirements with the Production Manager
Coach and support production staff.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
Qualifications:
A minimum of three years' production management experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
