Job Responsibilities



Prepare and submit reports Recommend measures to improve productivity Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Establish work schedules Train or arrange for training Oversee safety of operations Recommend personnel actions Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Set up machines and equipment Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to formulas or specifications Organize and maintain inventory Prepare and apply stencils, decals or other decorative items on finished products Clean and maintain equipment Tend or operate equipment to prepare items for application of protective or decorative coatings Select appropriate paint or mix paints Trimming and sanding plastic or fiberglass parts Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes Clean work area

Qualifications



3 years plus of proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of production processes and quality control methodologies. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in using production management software and tools. Knowledge of safety regulations within the manufacturing sector is preferred.
