Your Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:

Establish consistent and clear communication via Team Meetings / Shift Meetings to ensure all urgent matters are communicated to the Senior Group Leader and other departments as required

Provide direction and support to Team Leaders and Associates
Coordinate manpower planning, time off approvals
Assist in the planning and implementation of continuous improvement of procedures
Identify training needs, provide training, implement training, and document this
training (utilize "Team Support", MOS Review, formal training through Human
Resources)
Observe and assist in the evaluation of employee performance to ensure compliance with standards
Facilitate daily start up meetings to discuss safety, quality, production etc.
Provide ongoing feedback and coaching
Accurately complete and maintain all relevant and appropriate documents
Ensure associates complete accurate control cards, Marwood inspection standards, fork lift checks, etc.
Production
Attend daily meetings as required
Ensure daily shipment requirements are met on time
Assist in the development or revision of work practises
5S and assist in Kaizen activities
Utilize Lean Principals to continually improve processes
Complete Performance Evaluations accurately and on time
Quality
Perform LPA\'s
Ensure non-conformances are contained & dispositioned at end of shift
Effectively complete 5Y\'s, CAR\'s Enforce
Ensure non-conformances on control cards are signed off & non-conformance reports are completed
Follow Marwood quality system
Safety
Ensure all Health & Safety policies & procedures are followed
Assist in WSIB areas, administer First Aid and complete reports as required
Complete discipline and Health & Safety inspections
All other relevant duties

Key Requirements:
Grade 12, GED, or equivalent
2 years related experience
Post-secondary education or equivalent certificate
Additional Technical and Professional Requirements:
Computer literacy - Moderate level of proficiency with standard email, spreadsheet and word-processing software (Outlook, Excel, Word); and Plex
