Job Description

Therm-O-Comfort is seeking a highly motivated individual to fulfill the role of Production Supervisor within the manufacturing field. Therm-O-Comfort has been in business since 1977 and has a great team of valued employees to work alongside.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Supervise production activities based on delivery schedule and customer requirements. Supervise quality control activities and ensure quality objectives and customer expectations are met. Troubleshoot and operate automated equipment. Participate in production rotation when required. Ensure an adequate inventory of raw materials is available to meet production requirements and forecasts. Supervise and inspect the off-loading of raw materials. Train and supervise employees in accordance with company and occupational health and safety policies. Health and Safety Management, completing monthly walk arounds, maintaining PPE supplies inventory, and enforcing safety policies and procedures. Various reports- daily production reports, creating/ revising standard operating. procedures, carrying out non-conformances and corrective actions, issuing work orders.
Qualifications:

SSGD or higher with supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Industrial controls experience. Mut be able to troubleshoot and manage automated equipment Ability to effectively communicate and correspond both verbally and in writing. MS Office- must be proficient working with Excel spreadsheets. Ability to complete reports, analyze data and troubleshoot.
Other Requirements:

Certified Forklift, Skid Steer and Aerial Device Operator Workplace Inspection, Confined Space Entry, WHMIS First Aid Certificate
