The Production Supervisor is the primary role responsible for providing consistent front-line leadership for our team members with the goal of exceeding requirements in employee safety, food quality, regulatory compliance, and employee engagement. Working as a team with fellow production supervisors, your sense of self-motivation and passion, along with a high sense of urgency to deliver on a wide array of priorities, will contribute to the overall success of the operation today and challenge the operation to a better tomorrow.

Summ! Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead multiple team-members ensuring that safe work procedures and food-safety regulations are adhered to always. Conduct SOP training and safety training for all production operators and maintain a safe work environment for all employees. Ensure that daily production manufacturing practices are aligned to all Government Food Safety regulations on GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices). Manage employee work schedules, assign duties, and resolve employee conflicts. Facilitate, educate, motivate, coach, counsel and guide the production employees to ensure that they can deliver results. Manage controllable costs of the manufacturing process by meeting product standards. Develop people with emphasis on the management of safety, food safety, quality, and productivity. Maintain a positive labour environment. Assist and support various continuous improvement projects in plant operations including Efficiency, Health and Safety, Food Safety, and Product Quality. Work with internal and external departments to coordinate plant activities and accomplish department goals. Other duties as assigned.

Summ! Requirements:



Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Operations or 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in a manufacturing or commercial food production environment Intermediate competency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word). Excellent inter-personal and communication skills with a collaborative problem-solving approach Flexibility to work different shifts including mornings, days, evenings, weekdays and weekends as required. 2nd language including Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi, Tagalog will be an asset.


This full-time opportunity is on-site at our 23011 Fraserwood Way location and offers a competitive salary range (based on experience) between $70,000 - $80,000 in addition to an attractive benefits package including Company paid Extended Health & Dental, RRSP Matching, Health Spending Account and more.
