Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor - Press Brake to lead our press brake operations in a fast-paced fabrication environment. This role is responsible for supervising daily production, ensuring quality and safety standards, and driving efficiency while supporting team development and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

o Supervise and coordinate daily activities of press brake operators to meet production schedules. Oversee machine setup, programming, and operation to ensure precision and efficiency. Ensure compliance with company safety policies, quality standards, and 5S practices. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to guide production. Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance skills and overall performance. Troubleshoot equipment and tooling issues, coordinating with maintenance as required. Monitor production metrics such as output, scrap, and downtime, implementing corrective actions when needed. Collaborate with planning, quality assurance, and other departments to maintain smooth workflow. Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare and present shift reports to management

skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of CNC and manual press brake operations.

Proven leadership and team management skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Understanding of safety practices, ISO standards, and lean manufacturing principles.

Qualifications

High school diploma or technical certificate (required). Post-secondary education in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering (preferred). 3-5 years of hands-on press brake experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role. Familiarity with CNC programming (Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic, or similar systems).
