Production Supervisor Plastic Manufacturing
Job Description
Supervise, coordinate and operate the activities of the processing machines such as Windmoller and Holsher (3 to 5 Layer Blown film lines) machines that fabricate, assemble, finish or inspect plastics products.
Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments.
Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Requisition materials and supplies.
Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions.
Prepare production and other reports.
May set up machines and equipment.
Train other employees on how to operate machinery such as Windmoller and Holsher and 5 Layer Blown film machine.
Quality control tasks to make sure the finished product is perfect.
