As we continue to grow, we're seeking a skilled and hands-on Production Lead Hand to take ownership of our production operations and support our talented team.

Position Overview

The Production Lead plays a key role in overseeing daily production activities, maintaining machinery, and ensuring the consistent quality of our foam mouldings. This position is ideal for a mechanically inclined, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment and enjoys solving problems on the fly.

You'll work closely with company leaders to meet deadlines, uphold safety standards, and drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing floor.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and participate in the daily production meetings to ensure quality, efficiency, and consistency.

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production machinery and equipment.

Organize and manage production schedules to meet daily and weekly targets.

Monitor workflows and make real-time adjustments to optimize performance.

Uphold and enforce all safety standards and best practices.

Train, mentor, and support production staff to promote teamwork and skill development.

Maintain accurate production records and report progress to management.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience operating and maintaining production equipment.

5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment

5+ years of supervisory experience preferred.

Proven ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a focus on detail and efficiency.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to train, motivate, and lead a team effectively.

Solid understanding of workplace safety procedures and production best practices.

Experience with foam, CNC, or similar manufacturing equipment is an asset.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 - 48 per week
