Magellan Aerospace Haley division is nestled in the Ottawa Valley one hour north of the Capital, Ottawa, Ontario Haley Ontario - Bing Maps. SALARY:

$60 000 to $70 000

POSITION TYPE:

Full-Time Permanent

Key Responsibilities

Supervising operations within a facility to achieve higher output Ensuring compliance with safety and professional standards within a facility Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals Evaluating various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency Maintaining communication between employees and senior executives to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood Ensuring the flow of raw materials and other resources

Education Requirements:

Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required:

3 to 5 years' experience in a supervisor/leadership role Knowledge of various manufacturing tools and equipment Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic Ability to create and adhere to production processes Ability to write reports legibly and accurately Experience working in a Unionized Environment

Security Requirements:

We conduct a criminal Record Check on all new hires We conduct a Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) Check on all new hires; must be able to give 3 references to help verify your identity

Work Conditions:

The ideal candidate will be able to work rotating shifts 5 days a week (Currently morning and afternoon shifts but may include overnight shifts in future) CSA approved footwear, Safety glasses, ear protection, etc.
