We are currently accepting applications for a dynamic, highly skilled, and organized individual to join our team as a Production Supervisor at our processing facility in Fortune, Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Position:

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Supervisor will perform duties with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy and will be responsible for the following:

Establishing daily, monthly, and annual production targets, with a focus on continuous improvement. Developing and overseeing job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results to ensure production goals are achieved. Promoting a safety culture focused on hazard recognition and elimination. Maintaining product quality by establishing and enforcing organizational standards. Analyzing production performance data and records. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel in the proper use of equipment and resources and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar management role, preferably within the fishing industry. Strong judgment, problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and the capability to manage multiple projects in a demanding, fast-paced work environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to work independently, motivate others, and contribute to a team-based performance environment.
An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
