What is the job?

• Ensure colleagues are working safely and efficiently

• Move material to and from storage and production areas

• Plan, organize, and coordinate work of employees on crew

• Assign work, set expectations and accountability for completion

• Ensure quality and timeliness of work is completed within budgeted parameters

• Assign and status jobs/coordinate operational schedule

• Adhere to labour contract and ensure compliance

• Communicate with other supervisors to help achieve and maintain smooth work flow and a high degree of productivity

• Foster an environment that is focused on safety and recommend process improvement initiatives

• Comply with all company procedures

• Presenting written or oral instructions for work assignments, determining applicable material and equipment needs.

• Attaches identifying tags to material and/or marks them with pertinent information.

• Inspects material for sags, runs, drips and bare areas.

What do you bring to the job?

• Ability to safely team lift heavy objects

• Ability to work in hot conditions

• Reliable transportation

• Possess steel toed boots, work gloves, safety glasses.

• Must be able to work
