Job Description

Accomplishing manufacturing results by communicating job expectations, coaching, counselling, and when necessary, disciplining employees. Selecting, onboarding, training and mentoring employees. Completing production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries. Managing the accuracy of timesheets. Collaborating with various groups to identify cost reduction initiatives that will maintain or improve quality, reliability and manufacturing cycle time. Working with the Safety group to create, evaluate and promote the managing of the hazards of the operations via Job Hazards Assessments. Reviewing and controlling the resources for the correct and timely execution of work orders and consequently finish goods.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment with 3+ years' experience in a supervisory capacity. Post secondary education in business administration or related field. Superior organization, communication, leadership and interpersonal skills. Strong working knowledge of MS suite, particularly with Excel. Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize various deliverables.

To support its efforts in growth and expansion, SSM is looking to add a Production Supervisor to the team for the afternoon shift.


Shift: 3:00 to 11:30 PM
