Reporting to the Production Assistant Manager, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the products are in compliance with customer and company standards and production goals and targets are met.

The shift we are hiring for is our Weekday 2nd Shift - Candidate must be able to work Monday to Thursday 6:00pm - 4:30am

Duties & Responsibilities:

Supervise daily operations of the Production staff 90% on the floor working directly with operators Required to assist on production line, when needed Ensure compliance of production schedules Manage and prioritize all production processes and implements production plans Analyze staffing requirements and ensure efficient compliance to production schedules and budget for production processes Assist in hiring production employees, integrates new hires, coordinates production staff Evaluate production employee performance Comply to regulatory and employment concerns Ensures the safety of the workforce Take ownership of customer issues and follows up with "customer is right" attitude Identify problem areas, recommend, coordinate, and implement solutions Collaborates with other departments to maintain the ISO quality systems Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment; preferably in highly automated, high speed stamping environment Must be mechanically inclined and adept at troubleshooting minor equipment issues Understanding and experience with ISO based quality systems Must be skilled at training and mentorship Strong multi-tasking skills with the proven ability to maintain stress levels while meeting tight deadlines Strong team building and team leadership with experience in a supervisory position Licensed for forklift operation and overhead crane preferred Knowledge of Microsoft Office software Must be flexible with availability and able to work overtime as needed Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
