Job Description

AyA is seeking a Production Supervisor for the afternoon shift to join our head office team in Mississauga.

Responsibilities:

Supervise daily activities of approximately 10-20 hourly employees Ensure safe working environment for all employees and maintaining safe working practices Achieve production goals while maintaining quality standards Liaison with other supervisors/lead hands/managers to achieve production and quality outputs Train and motivate employees as well as conduct performance reviews Work towards continuous improvement in policies and procedures for manufacturing

Education/ Experience:

Minimum 3 years' supervisor experience in manufacturing environment Experience working in Cabinetry, Millwork or Furniture Manufacturing preferred Working knowledge of Health & Safety standards Familiar with continuous improvement systems an asset Must possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent communication, time management, problem solving and critical thinking skills
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 4:00pm - 12:30

Training will be conducted on the day shift (Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm) for approximately 4-6 weeks. Company offers comprehensive benefit package including health, dental, vision and pension and onsite gym.
