Tasks

Develop production schedules and duty assignments to ensure proper functioning Evaluate daily operations Plan and organize daily operations Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines Hire, supervise and train or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budget Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Monitor quality and production levels Inspect and evaluate material and equipment for compliance to standards Examine financing methods, production costs and techniques and marketing policies to recommend improvements Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards Design and develop equipment and procedures for the processing, storage, packaging and handling of food products Check and monitor product quality Analyze and evaluate athletes' or team's performance Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff
