Job description:

We are looking for a

Production Scheduler

who can create and manage the overall production schedule to ensure we meet delivery deadlines efficiently and in alignment with demand while coordinating between departments to balance capacity and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and manage daily and weekly production schedules for on-time delivery of custom packaging and automation equipment. Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Production teams to align schedules with availability of materials, components and resources. Monitor work-in-progress, lead times, and bottlenecks to proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and keep production on track. Allocate work ensuring tasks are assigned based on team capabilities, operational priorities, and available resources. Utilize ERP systems to generate and adjust schedules while maintaining data integrity and real-time updates ensuring accuracy and traceability of work. Collaborate in daily production meetings to align priorities and confirm resource availability. Support inventory and procurement planning by ensuring schedule accuracy and notifying material and component requirements in advance. Contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying scheduling inefficiencies and supporting process standardization.

Qualifications:

Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. 3+ years of experience as a Production scheduler preferably in the engineering/automation industry. Good written and oral communication skills in English to effectively communicate technical and non-technical requirements. Ability to prioritize Able to read engineering drawings.
