We are now on a determined path to growth, leading to great opportunities for personal and career growth. We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Production Scheduler.

The Production Scheduler maintains production schedules for the manufacturing plant to ensure that Arconas' production goals are achieved and that deadlines are met. By managing schedules, the Production Scheduler plays a major role in helping Arconas to reach its production objectives. Responsibilities include maintaining schedules, planning the use of resources in the most effective manner, providing quick responses to production issues, identifying problems, helping to improve processes, using software to generate reports, and ensuring that company objectives are met.

Duties and responsibilities:



Maintain the production schedule to ensure order deadlines are met through the coordination with plant supervisors Review the master production schedule in Epicor (ERP) Responsible for inputting the production operators' time in and out of jobs daily Will organize and prioritize production for customer orders as per stock or replenishment lead time Ensure all production jobs are closed in Epicor upon job completion Responsible for communicating with the Operations and ERP Coordinator on order status Monitors the deviation between planned and actual production Reviews daily open orders to ensure order fulfillment is achieved Oversees the execution of the production planning during the design and/or production stages of assigned special projects Performs lead time analysis and prepares production schedules based on priority, lead time, quantity, and product availability Responsible for ensuring that raw material inventory can meet production requirements Supports and leads a culture of continuous improvement, for production planning/scheduling, but also within the Supply Chain Management team Manages the daily KPI's for production planning/scheduling Will act as a backup to the Operations and ERP Coordinator All other activities as required or assigned by the Senior Manager, Operations

Qualifications:



Post-secondary degree/diploma or equivalent experience in manufacturing, operations, or related discipline Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing Planning and Scheduling Ability to learn technical material to accomplish necessary objectives Comprehensive working knowledge of the production functions within an organization Demonstrate ability to multitask several priorities and possess solid time management skills Ability to work in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint. Prior ERP experience, preferably working in Epicor Ability to coordinate within the operations team. Ability to read and interpret documents such as master schedules, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral

Pay: $58,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
