This is for a company in Etobicoke that makes cardboard boxes. (Pizza boxes, packaging boxes, and a whole lot more!)

Position: General Labourers - Machine Operators - Production Workers - Manufacturing Associates
Employment: Permanent, direct hire

Location: Islington and Evans, Etobicoke

Salary:
starts $17.53/hr (rate may depend on the machine that you get assigned to)
afternoon premium + $0.50
night premium + $0.75

Shift Schedule:
Rotating Weekly
Monday to Friday
Days : start 6:00 am 6:15am / 6:30am / 6:45am
Afternoon: start 2:30 pm / 2:45 pm
Nights: 10:30 pm / 10:45 pm
**All shifts are 8 hours**

Must-haves:
Willing to get trained
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Must have safety shoes
Able to do Rotating Shifts

Responsibilities
Working as a team, you will ensure production targets are met and that all employees are working safely.
Daily tasks included pushing, pulling, lifting, moving, stacking cardboard through various machines.
Ensure the warehouse is kept tidy and clean at all times
Maintain maximum productivity levels at all times
Adhere to and follow all Health and Safety regulations and ensure safe work practices are followed at all times
Perform duties as requested by the manager

Qualifications
High school diploma
Attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team environment
Positive, can-do attitude
Mechanical aptitude
Physically fit, able to lift up to 50 lbs
Good verbal communication skills and ability to read and understand English.
Ability to work rotating shifts
Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
