Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Scheduler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules to ensure efficient operations, meet delivery deadlines, and optimize resource utilization. Duties



Develop and maintain detailed production schedules using ERP systems such as SAP and other MRP tools to align with customer demands and inventory levels. Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and quality control teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components for assembly and production processes. Monitor production progress, identify potential delays or bottlenecks, and adjust schedules proactively to meet delivery commitments. Implement process improvements by analyzing workflow efficiencies and recommending lean manufacturing strategies to reduce waste and increase productivity. Coordinate with supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain responsiveness. Track key performance indicators related to manufacturing efficiency, quality control, and process improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate documentation of production plans, changes, and related activities for audit compliance and reporting purposes.

Experience



Proven experience in manufacturing scheduling or production planning within a lean manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent platforms; experience with MRP modules is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with assembly processes is advantageous for understanding production constraints. Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Experience working in supply chain management, quality control, or related fields is desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for collaborating across departments and ensuring alignment on production goals. This position is integral to maintaining efficient manufacturing operations while supporting ongoing process enhancements that contribute to overall business success.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
