Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Production Planner

to join our plastic sheet manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will manage production scheduling, material planning, cross-department coordination and customer communication to ensure efficient operations and on-time delivery.

Duties

Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for plastic sheet extrusion lines. Review customer orders and forecast demand to plan capacity and material requirements. Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials (resins, additives, packaging). Maintain accurate production data, work orders, and inventory levels using

SAP S/4HANA

. Monitor WIP and finished goods inventory to maintain optimal stock levels. Adjust schedules based on machine availability, staffing levels, and urgent order changes. Communicate production plans to supervisors, operators, and logistics teams. Analyze production performance and identify opportunities for process improvement. Collaborate with quality control to ensure product specifications and standards are met.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 2+ years of production planning experience within manufacturing (plastics industry preferred).

Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA production planning and inventory modules (PP/MM).

Strong knowledge of production workflows and extrusion processes. Proficient in demand forecasting, material planning, and capacity scheduling. Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

Experience with lean manufacturing principles. Understanding of resin formulations, extrusion line capabilities, and material behavior. Ability to interpret technical drawings and production specifications.
