JOB DESCRIPTION:



The successful candidate will be responsible for providing real-time visibility into daily plant operations to optimize labor, material, and equipment utilization. This role supports decision-making for outsourcing, resource allocation, and material management to ensure efficient MRO operations, reduced turnaround times, and improved on-time delivery performance.

TASKS/DUTIES:



? Providing full, real-time visibility over all day-to-day plant operations to enable effective utilization of labor, materials, and equipment (and, ultimately, shorter repair and overhaul turnaround times, superior customer service, and reduced operating costs).

? Providing visibility over current and forecasted plant capacity to identify and analyze bottlenecks, manage constraints, and minimize inventory and raw material levels and work-in-progress.

? Conducting scenario analysis to enable the MRO shop to make the best decisions when it comes to outsourcing work, ordering parts, and deploying resources.

? Forecasting and generating reliable due dates - thereby improving on-time delivery performance and customer loyalty.

? Act as a technical coordinator to produce SOW for outsourcing all finishing jobs pertaining to parts that are manufactured oversees.

? Engage with vendors and determine their capability in carrying out finishing work in accordance with our SOW.

? Ensure that accurate and timely information is provided to both vendors and the Senior Management Team.

? Will evaluate cost, delivery, and performance, and ensures ongoing maintenance of the approved vendor list.

? Expedite required materials to support ongoing MRO operations.

? Meet and maintain minimum inventory levels as set by management.

? Achieving long-term business goals such as:

- Reduced turn-around times.

- Increased on-time delivery performance and productivity.

- Reduced overtime and operating costs.

- Increased customer satisfaction and revenue

? Perform other duties as assigned

SKILLS REQUIRED:



Basic understanding & work experience with various manufacturing application practices, procedures and methods; turning, milling, grinding, metrology and refinishing, painting, plating, etc. Assist process planning within a machine job-shop environment, developing part manufacturing order of sequence & operation details. Process document management control, drawings and in-process data collection. Highly organized, individual with a strong attention to detail. The ability to interpret 2D drawings, 3D models and technical data sheets. Ability to work as part of a team.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:



Production planning & capacity scheduling (MRO/manufacturing) ERP/MRP proficiency; strong Excel/data analysis & forecasting Inventory control, expediting, and procurement/vendor coordination SOW creation; technical documentation & clear communication Bottleneck/scenario analysis; data-driven decision-making Organization, attention to detail, and cross-functional teamwork.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:



University or Technical College diploma or equivalent experience in the field of manufacturing process planning, machining methods and practices, CNC machining, programming & fixture design.

ASSETS:



Preference will be given to applicants with process planning experience in Aerospace industry. The ability to work with 2D drawings, geometric tolerance and 3D solid models. 2&3D part drawing & modeling using Solid works will be an asset. Knowledge with documenting and developing technical procedures. Organizational skills & attention to detail. Demonstrated PC skills, including: MS Office, Excel, Word..
