Headquartered in Lunenburg, NS, and with a site in Mirabel, QC, we operate more than 150,000 sq feet of facilities dedicated to operations, manufacturing and administration.

The Production Planner ensures the accuracy and timeliness of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) by proactively managing material risks, resource constraints, and potential disruptions. It also coordinates mitigation plans and facilitates communication with relevant teams to maintain efficient operations and prevent production delays.

In this role, you will:

Ensure timely updates of the MPS on a weekly basis and be accountable for accuracy and completeness. Assess material risks to the defined MPS, actively seek out potential issues, and implement proactive measures to mitigate them. Demonstrate accountability by promptly issuing Material Alerts or initiating Line Stoppages for identified risks, ensuring immediate action to prevent disruptions. Request Lab work for identified material risks, ensuring thorough evaluation and analysis. Maintain tracking of MRB disposition, actively identify any potential impacts on the MPS, and take necessary steps to address and communicate these impacts. Actively identify resource constraints (Material, Labor, Tools, Equipment) and coordinate mitigation plans to address these constraints effectively. Take ownership of assessing PO's, Drop-Ins, Pull-Ins, and AOG situations, ensuring thorough evaluation and proactive management. Release the MPS Weekly Report with a high level of accountability for its accuracy and timeliness. Serve as the primary point of contact in Planning for Line Stoppages and Positive Recalls, and diligently follow up with SCQA, SCM, LAB, and QE to ensure timely resolution. Define material usage campaigns aimed at utilizing material before its expiration, demonstrating a commitment to minimizing waste and optimizing resource utilization.

You have:

Diploma/Degree in Business/Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience Minimum 3-5 years' experience in planning /scheduling in manufacturing environment Exhibits outstanding communication skills across all levels, adept at effectively conveying information and fostering meaningful interactions with colleagues, stakeholders, and customer alike. Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, adept at efficiently managing tasks, priorities, and deadlines with precision and foresight. Exhibits a keen eye for detail, consistently ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks and projects undertaken. Strong computers skills (MS Excel, Project, etc.)

We are committed to an equitable compensation structure and the wage range for this role is between $63,449 to $84,598.
