Bonte Foods is one of Atlantic Canada's fastest growing and most diversified food manufacturing facilities, located in Dieppe, New Brunswick. We produce high-quality, great-tasting food products under several well-known brands, including Bonte Foods and Chris Brothers sold across Canada. Our facility manufactures more than 300 products for foodservice, retail, and institutional markets--including donair, gyro meat, pepperoni, salami, ham and more.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented

Production Planner

to join our Operations team. The Production Planner plays a critical role in aligning production plans with business objectives, quality standards, and customer demands.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and schedule all production activities using volume forecasts, customer orders, new product test plans, and capacity constraints (machine, labour, space).

Coordinate material releases from the warehouse to production. Work with Purchasing to ensure all required raw materials and packaging are available. Collaborate with the Production Manager to plan labour and equipment needs and ensure schedules are executed and adjusted as required. Work closely with all departments to support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives Prepare weekly schedule status reports for management.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing considered an asset). Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel and ERP systems (Syspro experience preferred). Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments. Process-oriented mindset with exceptional attention to detail Post-secondary education is an asset but not required. Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
