Critical Success Factors:

Package, palletize and transport product as required Assist Filler Operators with resupply and other tasks necessary to maintain production Follow correct sanitation procedures Understand and execute of SOPs for all Lactalis Canada Inc. Follow all in house safety procedures Ensure that equipment is cleaned and sanitized effectively Requires flexible working hours, including morning, afternoon and night shift. Ensuring compliance with GMP, Food Safety, SOPs, OHSA and other pertinent policies, procedures and legislation Performing any other duties as directed by management personnel. Supporting health and safety programs Be available for potential overtime Perform any other duties as required

Key Attributes of the Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment an asset Knowledge of plant and equipment operations Ability to identify, problem solve and research alternatives within the scope of the job Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team-based environment Must be able to achieve a working knowledge of all products, housekeeping and sanitation Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Professional attitude and demonstrated courtesy to others Must be responsible, self-motivated, and reliable Must be able to organize and adjust to whatever changes may occur during shift Must learn and use new procedures and knowledge when it is introduced Proactive work ethics, multitasking with ability to support other areas of production processes Available to work weekend or overtime as production demands require Physically able to lift >20 kg and frequently push or pull >70 kg with frequent lifting and bending Duties may be reassigned due to sickness, vacation, compensation or absenteeism Shifts may change with proper notice if customer requirements change
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.81 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
