Position Overview: Learn and operate process equipment and perform related duties in the production areas and/or development fermentation, according to GMP and other regulatory requirements. Operators are classified in levels from 1 to 5 plus Lead Operator, based on their abilities to operate cross functionally between areas of the production department, development fermentation, as well as leadership skills. The ideal candidate is energetic, collaborative, and forward- thinking. Operator Level 1: New production operator. Learning fermentation or downstream. Fermentation area includes development fermentation. This position is based out of Winnipeg, MB.

*This position will be working 12 hour rotating day/night shifts, continental shift*

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

• Perform process related procedures by following established Batch Records and Standard Operating Procedures under GxP,
• Accurately safely and efficiently carry out all directions/instructions given by the Shift supervisor area in the Processing area and ensure equipment is operated safely
• Generate or revise documents including: SOP\xe2\x80\x99s, Change Control forms and various reports as directed
• Report promptly to the shift supervisor or lead operator, on any process or equipment problems
• Inform the shift supervisor or lead operator when they do not understand a procedure or operation
• General use of Cronos Fermentation\xe2\x80\x99s computer applications for data and word processing
• Ensure work place and equipment is cleaned and maintained and in good order as per GxP requirements
• Keep work place and equipment cleaned and maintained and in good order as per GxP requirements.
• Collaborate as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes
• Perform all work in accordance with all established regulatory and compliance and safety requirements
• Carry out all duties effectively and proficiently, in a timely and professional manner, and with diligent attention to quality of work Know and apply consistently the Cronos Fermentation safety policies and relevant occupational health and safety legislation, comply with and enforce safety standards, and correct unsafe practices, procedures and conditions.
• Promote safety awareness
• Trained operators assist in training of other production operators Other duties as assigned.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll need to have:

• Minimum High School diploma
• A college or university program certificate, or be working towards a certificate in a related field is an asset
• Related experience in a GxP environment as asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaborative skills
• Focused attention to detail and follow written and verbal instructions
• Takes initiative
