The Production Operator will be responsible for supporting many operations of Sunterra Horticulture. We currently have both day and afternoon shifts available for this position.

This is a 40-hour a week position; weekend work may be required. This position is for up to 8 weeks to support with our end of season operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Work closely with Production Supervision and management to determine priorities and courses of action to improve product quality and employee safety Ensure all company procedures are being followed At all times work in a manner that maintains the safety of themselves and others Work extra hours as required to keep production running Additional duties as required Perform other duties as assigned.

Job requirements:

Ability to read, write, and speak English. Must have own means of transportation to and from work.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. Required to stand, walk, and use hands to fingers, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb or crawl. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Capable of wearing a respirator and other applicable safety equipment, as required

Manufacturing setting + The temperature will vary from hot to cold, depending on the weather and location Must be able to adapt to the noise level of a manufacturing setting, which is usually moderate to heavy * Hands-on engagement with employees, leaders, and internal teams
