QinetiQ Target Systems Canada (QTSC) is seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Production Operator to support the manufacturing, repair, and testing of uncrewed vehicle systems and support equipment. This hands-on role is essential to ensuring the quality and reliability of our products used in defence and training operations worldwide.



? What You'll Do



Assemble products and sub-assemblies according to build instructions, drawings, and quality standards

Conduct acceptance testing under the supervision of a Technologist

Perform inspections and quality checks throughout the production process

Operate machinery and perform routine maintenance

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Support engineering teams with documentation, test procedures, and draft reviews

Assist with incoming inspections in support of ISO 9001 Quality Management

Train new Production Operators as needed

Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015 requirements

Take on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve

Education & Experience

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn

Reliable and committed to upholding QinetiQ's values and safety standards

Preferred:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Background in mechanical or technical fields
