Position Title:Production OperatorPosition Type: Regular - Full-Time \xe2\x80\x8bRequisition ID: 8321McCain Foods is a world-leading food company and one of the largest manufacturers of frozen potato specialties. We also produce other foods including appetizers, vegetables, oven meals and desserts, and our products are found in restaurants and supermarket freezers in more than 160 countries around the globe.Duties/Responsibilities:

• Follow good manufacturing practices
• Assist in driving continuous improvement in the production facility
• Measure and report equipment settings
• Complete and apply all aspects of Operator Asset Care (O.A.C.) in the work area
• Cleaning and inspection line checklists
• Meet or exceed required sanitation standard for work area: including scraping scales, sweeping floor, emptying damaged bags of product to waste barrels
• Operate equipment in a manner to produce high quality product and report any equipment problems to supervision
• Ensure timely, accurate records are maintained
• Check and record information and input into computer
• Clean-up/shut down duties: including deep cleaning on specific lines, sweeping, air hosing, chemical use, high pressure hosing
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision

Requirements:

• Push/pull such as rolls of poly, high pressure hoses, garbage containers, vacuum, pallets and cases
• Lifting weight approximately 25 \xe2\x80\x93 44 lbs., up to heights of 6 ft.
• Stair/ladder climbing as required
• Bending, crouching
• Standing for extended periods
• Continuous walking
