Production Operator Education/Experience Required

  • High School Diploma and a minimum of 6 months experience in a production environment.

  • Demonstrate willingness to put in the needed effort to meet company goals of improved TAT, quality and reduction of costs
Responsibilities The following responsibilities may include some or all of the following or any other tasks assigned directly or indirectly by the Department Manager/Production Manager.
  • Operate production Robot in the sample preparation department.
  • Training of new employees for the sample preparation robot.
  • Draft document preparation of robot operations.
  • Compile daily sample metrics for robot operations.
  • Perform regular daily maintenance of the Robotic Cell, keep it in proper working order and clean.
  • Record all maintenance and troubleshooting activities in associated log books.
  • Utilize technical knowledge of robotics to improve the quality of the process and participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Time flexibility to work in different shifts as required providing support to robot operators.
  • Recommend appropriate corrective actions/improvements based on Robotic Cell evaluation.
  • Assist in ensuring turnaround time meets clients and ActLabs requirements by working overtime when required.
  • Ensure all data is produced with high quality.
  • Compliance with ALL safety procedures including MSDS review and making sure to keep a safe working environment.
  • Use of support site to update statuses, make sample lists and labels.
