Production Operator

About the Role:




Reporting to the

Production Team Leader

, the

Production Operator

is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Dip Line to produce high-quality products in accordance with safety, quality, and operational standards. This includes preparation, machine operation, routine maintenance, and product quality assurance. This role is for the afternoon shift, from

3:30 p.m. - midnight Monday - Thursday and 3 p.m. - 11 p.m. Friday.

Responsibilities:



Pre-dipping preparation which involves preparing dip tanks, drip trays, mixers, and related equipment Batch, mix and weigh chemical compounds; complete house keeping of dipping room and compounding lab Conduct preventative maintenance and review process control reports Production start up and operations which includes but not limited to filling tasks and monitoring production Perform troubleshooting and safe shutdown/startup of equipment Ensure availability of liners/bins and proper labeling of finished products Complete quality control documentation Coordinate with team for proper product transfer post-testing Communicate with Team Leader on progress and issues

Qualifications:



Secondary school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 1 year in a machine or production line operator role Forklift license is considered an asset (training provided if necessary) Basic math and computer skills Ability to complete charts, perform calculations, and follow SOPs Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements Must follow all OHSA regulations and Superior Glove safety policies Proper / safe handling of chemicals and ladder use required
