Production Manager - Antec Controls

Antec Controls is experiencing rapid growth, and to support this momentum, we're excited to introduce the newly created role of Production Manager. We're seeking a technically inclined, energetic, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities with efficiency and accuracy.

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:

Set clear, consistent expectations for production teams and maintain open communication to ensure alignment and accountability. Organize, manage, and evaluate the effective use of all production resources Coach, mentor, and lead production staff, fostering a culture focused on continuous improvement. Identify and implement process improvements related to workflows, layouts, jigs, and equipment. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Proactively identify and manage production challenges, capacity issues, and process inefficiencies. Act as the primary point of contact for all production-related communication, with both internal and external counterparts and customers. Develop, monitor, and report on key production metrics, using data to inform decisions and actions. Lead safety initiatives, conduct regular safety audits, and ensure adherence to company safety policies and training protocols.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

Post-secondary education in manufacturing, engineering, business, or a related field would be an asset 3-5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to drive and manage change Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Highly organized with strong attention to detail Critical thinker with high accountability and sound decision-making skills Process-driven and self-motivated with a proactive, hands-on approach Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and service excellence Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
