Day in the life:

The schedule runs from Monday to Friday, start times varying seasonally from April to August; currently, it's 7:00am - 3:30pm 80% of this role requires working actively alongside team members in the production process 20% of the role entails handling administrative tasks such as payroll, inventory reporting, production planning, recruitment, and more. Consistently embody the company's culture and values in all leadership activities. Effectively maintain inventory levels and operational efficiencies on a daily basis Identify and address any irregularities or malfunctions, and manage employee behaviour and performance Comprehend, achieve, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) Promote and enforce Health & Safety within the workplace

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in a comparable leadership role Hands-on working in a production/manufacturing environment Experience leading a team of 10+ people Preventative and regular maintenance in a manufacturing environment or equivalent mechanical experience is considered an asset Strong leadership, organizational, time management, verbal/written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook Experience operating a forklift or heavy equipment Able to perform physical work, lifting and moving 20-40LBS propane tanks daily
