Education:

A university degree from an accredited institution in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.

A fast-growing, Vaughan-based food company, operating multiple brands across retail, foodservice, and manufacturing throughout the USA and Canada, is currently seeking a

Production Manager

to oversee our production operations, lead a talented team, and ensure we deliver top-quality products on time and within budget. The experienced production leader who will drive efficiency, quality, and growth in a dynamic manufacturing environment is needed to join the team.

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines. Oversee and manage production budgets using CRM software, to enter daily production data, controlling labor, materials, and overhead costs. Allocate resources effectively to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of supervisors, operators, and other production staff. Maintain adequate inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement lean manufacturing principles. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards while fostering a culture of safety awareness. Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and sales teams to align production with overall company objectives. Prepare and present regular production performance reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

Proven leadership experience managing 50-70 team members. Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach. Proficiency in production management systems, CRM software, and related tools. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process optimization techniques. Strong understanding of health, safety, and quality control regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Certification in Production Management or Lean Six Sigma is an asset.
