ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

Maxxit Systems Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to lead both our assembly and metal fabrication operations. The successful candidate will oversee the assembly and metal fabrication processes. This role involves managing a team of up to 50 employees, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high standards of quality, managing resources, and meeting production deadlines.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Oversee day-to-day operations of both the assembly and metal fabrication departments. Manage and supervise a team of permanent and temporary employees. Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards. Implement and monitor quality control procedures. Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. Maintain a safe, organized, and 5S-compliant work environment. Train and develop team members, providing guidance and support in both assembly and fabrication processes. Ensure the maintenance of tools and machines to minimize downtime. Continuously assess and improve assembly and fabrication processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS

University degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, or a similar field, is required. Proven experience in a production or assembly management role. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Ability to implement and monitor production schedules Experience in tool and machinery maintenance. Previous experience in metal fabrication industries is required. Technical knowledge of laser cutting, punching, forming, welding, and CNC programming is required. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Effective communication skills. Problem-solving and analytical thinking. Experience in training and mentoring staff.

Testing will be required to determine ability to read blueprints and schematics.
