Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of manufacturing systems, supply chain management, and process optimization.

Duties

Manage daily production activities to ensure timely and efficient output while adhering to quality standards. Implement and monitor production schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet changing demands. Lead process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Oversee quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize inventory management and material flow. Utilize MRP systems and SAP for effective resource planning and tracking production metrics. Provide training and support to production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Conduct regular assessments of equipment performance, ensuring mechanical knowledge is applied for maintenance and troubleshooting.

Skills

Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and processes. Proficient in MRP systems and SAP for effective planning and inventory control. Knowledge of supply chain management principles to enhance operational efficiency. Experience with Lean manufacturing techniques for process improvement. Familiarity with quality control methodologies to maintain product standards. Mechanical knowledge to assist in equipment assembly and maintenance tasks. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
